How we collect, use, and protect your information

Last updated: September 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you fill out a contact form, request a demo, or communicate with us. This may include your name, email address, company name, and any message content you choose to share.

If you start an OpenBeam trial, download OpenBeam, request OpenBeam access, or use OpenBeam during the trial period, we may receive your email address, trial entitlement status, download-token records, download-event records, license-check records, app version, browser user agent, referrer, and hashed IP or device identifiers needed to provide access, enforce the 12-week trial period, and measure product traction. If paid checkout is enabled later, Stripe will process card and payment details.

Optional website analytics is off until you choose “Allow analytics”. If you allow it, we use cookieless Vercel Web Analytics to measure page visits and interactions such as downloads, product walkthroughs and submitted enquiries. We remove query strings and fragments from the page URLs sent as analytics events. Names, email addresses, company names and free-form messages from our contact form are not sent as analytics event properties.

With analytics allowed, we also keep campaign tags, the page where measurement began, and the referring website's hostname in your browser's session storage. These details may accompany an enquiry so we can understand which public work generated relevant interest. This optional attribution is not attached when analytics is off. Session storage normally lasts until the browser tab is closed.

We remember your analytics choice in local storage until you change it or clear your browser data. If your browser prevents saving it, your choice applies only in the current tab. Use “Analytics preferences” in the footer to change your choice at any time. Choosing “No thanks” stops new optional analytics events and clears the campaign attribution stored in that tab. It does not remove information already received by us or Vercel. Contact forms, downloads and necessary access, security and service records work independently of this choice.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiries, provide information about our products and services, and communicate with you about your interest in Newport Resonance solutions.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our website or conducting our business, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

Our service providers may include Vercel for hosting and storage, Neon for database services, Resend for transactional email, and Stripe if paid checkout is enabled later.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information. You may also opt out of receiving marketing communications from us at any time.
